Nissan Resume Challenge
Whenever you have the rapt attention of 23 young men, you know you must be on to something good. So it was at the 100 Black Men of Greater Dallas Inc. prep meeting for the 100 Black Men of Greater Dallas/Ft. Worth Inc. held a Saturday Leadership Program’s Nissan Resume Challenge. The young men having worked on their resumes beforehand, came prepared to be interviewed by real life executives, including the 100 Black Men Dallas member and Nissan executive, Victor James, Director of Diversity, and other members of the 100 Black Men Dallas. Immediately following the interviews, our youth were given helpful feedback to help them develop their own “brand” that will prove useful in life. Topics covered in the session included resume building, branding skills, and appropriate “dress for success” skills.
